I made this monster truck cake for my nephew’s fifth birthday. His favorite truck was “Grave Digger”- thus the attempt at black frosting.
I baked one 8″ round cake for the base, and half of a loaf cake for the truck. For the cab, I used a Twinkie.
The green lights on top are bubble gum, and the wheels are your run-of-the-mill cake doughnuts attached with toothpicks.
No specialty items here, just a box and a tub of Betty Crocker!
