My son is a huge fan of a Japanese cartoon called Naruto… even-though it’s hard to get anything with this theme — he asked and this is what I created….
Two 8 inch store bought chocolate cakes with regular store bought vanilla icing and a layer of fresh sliced strawberries in the center. This was my first time using fondant and it was very easy. I rolled blue fondant out, wrapped a 4in strip around the cake but left top open, used vanilla icing dyed bright yellow and large star tip to make hair by piping and pulling up and away to resemble hair coming out… So my end result looks like a headband worn by the main character Naruto.
This homemade Naruto birthday cake was super simple, if your kids are into this show – try it out.
