I made these homemade Sesame Street cupcakes for my daughter’s 2nd birthday. I made red, blue, green, yellow, orange, black, pink and purple icing and a very small amount of brown. I used the Wilton hair/grass tip for Elmo, Oscar, Cookie Monster, and Zoe‘s fur. I used a leaf tip for Big Bird and did a smooth coat of icing on Abby, Ernie and Bert (when the icing gets a little hard on the last 3, use your finger to smooth them out even more).
I used marshmallow fondant for the eyes and Big Bird’s beak. I also used the Wilton hair tip for eyebrows and hair on Abby, Bert, Ernie and Oscar. For Abby’s hair I put pink icing on one side of the pastry bag and purple on the other side so both colors would come out together but not mix (worked great)… just use your pink for the tongues and bows first before you do this. Oscar’s tongue is red the rest are pink. Zoe has a pink bow and a purple bow.

how did you do those they are amazing!!i love them(being a baker myself) i would love to make those! the omly thing that would make them better would be.. grover!! i might make those for halloween my daughter and her friends are going to be cookie monster elmo grover oscar and bog bird!! so these would be great!
