The teapot cake was made with the Wilton ball pan. A pound cake recipe was used as Wilton recommended a “firmer texture” cake for the ball.

Cake was iced in pastel orange, blue piped for lid, blue m&m’s for the beading, other m&m’s for flowers, a dum-dum lollipop for the lid top, handles on teacups and pot are blue card stock inserted into the cake by slicing a hole with a paring knife.

Cupcakes were done by my six-year-old son, “kitchen creator.”
