A friend of mine loved I Love Lucy and collects everything Lucy that she can. So naturally I wanted to make her this cake. I found a pic of Lucy through Google. It looked easy enough and it was. The hard part was trying to make the shape of the face just right with fondant. On the sides of the cake are hearts. Some say ‘I Love Lucy’ and other’s say ‘I Love Carrie”, which is my friend’s name.
