Coolest Baby in Pram Cake

I usually just make cakes for my kids but recently have been asked by several people to make cakes for them. I was asked to have a go at this baby in pram cake for a friend. I was so pleased the way it turned out, it was the first time I’d done it!! The little girl it was for was delighted. Magic xx!

I used a pudding bowl to make the cake, sliced the crumb off and them covered in butter cream, turned it over then covered it with icing (a bit sticky and messy but I got there)!! I made the hood by rolling out sausage shapes thinning at the ends, stuck on with edible glue. The pillow was made of ready rolled icing and shaped.

I made the baby head and bear out of ready rolled colored icing and cut out a circle and shaped for the blanket. The handle is made of a pipe cleaner and as you can see the wheels are liquorice and hey presto! Sprinkled with edible glitter.
