I wanted to do something a little different for a Mothers Day gift and therefore learnt and made these on a cake course that I went on. The bouquet consists of six different flowers including the rose, sunflower, daisy, chrysanthemum etc.
I thought the bouquet looked rather impressive but very simple to make. Each cupcake is wrapped in green tissue paper.
To make the sunflower cake, I used an ‘Oreo’ biscuit and used a nozzle to pipe the yellow. Dots of yellow icing were then added to the top.
To make the rose, a rose nozzle was used.
This is a simple product to make and doesn’t take too long. It’s something that everyone should have a go at and is perfect for a gift for friends or family, rather than flowers.
