This Butterfly Birthday Cake is a double sponge cream and jam filled with green fondant on top. I used about 3kg of green. The butterfly was a round sponge cake cut then shaped for a butterfly with pink fondant covering it. I purchased ready made garden sets of butterflies, flowers, toadstools, bees, etc. from eBay.
