My daughter asked me to make a birthday cake for her obstetrician. I made a 9×13 chocolate cake, carved the cake to make it look it like a scrub shirt. The cake was frosted with a raspberry milk chocolate butter cream frosting. I made a strawberry white chocolate marshmallow fondant to cover the cake. Pink is the Dr’s favorite color. I made the stethoscope and the medical bag with black fondant. I added chocolate covered strawberries ( a favorite of the Dr. ).
I made tiny baby foot prints with brown fondant. I made the mask with yellow fondant, and the Rx pad with green fondant. Oops, I did make a small mistake. When I put her name tag on the cake, I put the letter “C” instead of the letter “T” on her name tag and the Rx pad. Otherwise I was pleased with the out come of the cake. When my daughter took it to her Dr , they were so excited with the cake. Everyone at the Dr’s office loved the cake. The Dr. laughed at the name tag mistake, but said it was a great cake.
