I baked one 9 x 13 chocolate cake and cut in 4 pieces because there were 4 kids celebrating this Daycare birthday cake, 3 boys and one girl. I decided to try out the marshmallow fondant recipe, it was easier than I though it would be, though I did have to combine a few recipes to really be happy with the results, after a few try’s it was okay!
I made shapes out of the fondant and let them dry overnight to decorate the cake and I then added cars and a Tinkerbell! I was inspired by a cake I saw on this site, it was a baby shower cake that had 4 pieces covered in fondant, I thought it would mean the world to the kids to have their own piece! and it did, they really liked it!
