This Highland Cow birthday cake is a very time-consuming but fun cake to make with little cow cupcakes (which were back up in case the main cake went wrong!).
I built the cake up in layers to make the main body and head of the cake. I then covered the cake in butter-icing to stick the pieces together. I then laid a thin layer of chocolate icing over the cake. The feet and nose are made out of icing and were added. I added the fur and eyes. To finish it off I added the grass by pipping green butter icing.
The 31yr old birthday boy was very pleased!!
