This Pizza Birthday Cake Design is 1 of 2 cakes I made for my brother this year. It’s a yellow 12in round cake. I dyed buttercream icing red and put it on the cake as if were a pizza about a half inch from the sides. All the toppings were made from home made marshmallow fondant that was airbrushed in layers to make as realistic as possible.
The toppings include pepperoni sausage green peppers and cheese the cheese is actually white candy melts that we grated on a cheese grater to get a realistic look.
My brother works for a pizza place and the owner loved the cake. I may end up making more for them in the future.
