Coolest Soccer Birthday Cake

I am 14 so this Soccer Birthday Cake should be do-able for anyone. It was for my friend’s 13th birthday.

Needed: Box of cake, icing, icing colors (black and green), fondant, and a good baker!

I used a chocolate box cake and then I cooked it in the Wilton soccer ball pan. Make sure to grease the pan right or it will stick to the pan. Also turn the heat down after a little bit so it cooks evenly. I made icing, then I colored some icing black, some green, and kept a lot white. The black and white is for the actual ball. The green is for the “grass”.

There are soccer imprints on the pan so I followed the lines. I followed the lines with gel so I could still see it after I put icing on. When you finish the white and black, put green frosting under the cake. Then make fondant flowers and put them on the “grass”. Then cut out flowers out of fondant and attach with water. Then cut out a square of fondant.

On the square write Happy Birthday! Put the flowers on the “grass”. Use icing to attach the fondant to the cake.

Happy baking!
