I’m only 15 years old, and I did this Sonic The Hedgehog Birthday Cake all by myself. It was for my boyfriend’s younger brother’s 8th birthday, and I looked for so long to find a Sonic cake pan, but no one around my area had one.
I drew out the face, made a hard copy to trace, and decorated it!

You did an amazing job. My son is going to be 8 and wants a sonic cake so bad. How did you trace it onto the cake?
Print out a picture of Sonic the Hedgehog, trace it onto a piece of wax paper with a sharpie. Flip that over and use Wilton black gel icing in a tube to trace sonic. After the cake cools and you ice it place this gel side traced Sonic picture down on the icing. Put the cake in the fridge, as it cools more that gel will leave an ink trace on the cake. Then you just use the Wilton cake decorating tips to fil in Sonic just as the picture. I’m going to post the picture of mine on here so you can see.

I congratulate you on this cake. This is real talent. There is no better talent than when you can create your own drawing technique. Its the best Sonic Cake and the most original bk it your own drawing. I give you a 10.
