Coolest Tea Birthday Cake

This is a Tea Birthday Cake I made for my daughter’s 27th birthday. It is a strawberry cake with strawberry buttercream frosting covered in fondant. The sunflowers and spoon is made from gumpaste. The sugar bowl and creamer were made from cupcakes. The tea pot I made from sports ball cake pan and 1-6″ round cake pan.

I baked and put the two cakes together, crumb coated them and chilled them. I then sculpted the teapot in the shape I wanted then iced it and covered it in fondant. I then airbrushed them, let them dry and attached the gumpaste flowers with royal icing. The pour spout and handle is made with fondant and attached with royal icing and toothpicks.
