Coolest Spongebob Birthday Cake Idea

I used 3 boxes of Pillsbury cake mix (strawberry) and 3 cans of whipped frosting for this Spongebob Birthday Cake Idea! I prepared 3 sheets of 10 x 13 and let them cool completely! I frosted each layer and the outside. Chill until needed.

I made fondant out of Marshmallows and powdered sugar. I used Icing concentrated paste to make all the colors I needed. Refrigerate until it’s time to use it.

I rolled out the yellow fondant big enough to cover the entire body. Then I just rolled and cut out all the other pieces needed to make a Spongebob adding more detail little by little!

I thought it looked a little plain so I made hands and feet out of rice crispie treats and covered them in fondant. I used fruit sticks for arms and legs covered in fondant.

I wanted to personalize it by putting the girl’s name on it and her age. I made a heart out of crispie treats, used the leftover fondant to cover. I also used writing icing for her name. I put her age on the heart along with candles.
