So when you have twins, how do you make sure they both get their own cake?? They decided they wanted army men. So while looking for ideas at toy stores we found a box of tan and green army men with extras like plants and tanks. So I started by making two 11×17 cakes.
I cut the corners of both cakes at an angle. Using those pieces to fill in the center. I cut up fruit by the foots and stuck them together to form the planks on the bridge. I covered the cake in green and brown icing. Then I made blue swirls to look like water. Placing the “wood planks” in the water. I placed all the tan guy on one side and the green on the other. Adding all the foliage in the corners to fill in space and to give the guys cover. The boys loved it, and wanted it again the next year.
