I made two 10 inch cakes. Put jam and cream in the middle. Covered the cake in pink buttercream icing. Used fondant that I bought and colored pink, to make the little flowers and the butterflies.
Printed a picture of Minnie Mouse off the PC, and used that as an example to draw the Minnie out of Fondant. Made the A B C blocks out of Rice Krispie bars, and covered and decorated with fondant(sugar paste).
The ‘1’ is made from plain cake and I just cut it out and covered it in fondant. The writing is butter icing.
Everything on the Homemade Minnie Mouse 1st Bday Cake has been done using either butter icing or Fondant. Only the white fondant and the cake board is store bought. Everything else is done by hand.
