Pretty Homemade Number One Birthday Cake

Again wanting a Number One Birthday Cake for my third child’s birthday. I created a shape for the number using packet mix x2. Then I used ganache to cover the cake and take out any imperfections for the fondant to go over the top. I coloured 2/3 of the fondant icing leaf green and the remaining baby pink in two shades. I rolled the fondant to cover the cake.

Again with this cake I rolled pink balls at the base to hide where icing met plate. I then cut out butterflies with a heart cutter and stuck two together to form the shape. The vine leaves were placed to cover any imperfections in the icing. I used a small flower cutter and cut daisies in two shades of pink also and rolled little ball of icing for the centre. I used the butterfly in the side of the plate to hold one candle.
