My son loves Spongebob and Patrick so I decided to make this Patrick Star Cake. This was my 1st time cutting out a character. I Googled a picture of Patrick and enlarged it, then I wanted it a little bigger so I decided to draw it myself on a big sheet of paper.
I made a 9×13 strawberry cake, let it cool for a couple of hours. I put my template on the cake and cut around it, then decorated. I used strawberry frosting for Patrick, but made the green for his pants myself with food coloring. The black I outlined from a frosting in a squeezeable container.
Everybody said it was really cute!
