This Pirate Ship Cake was so much fun to make and fairly easy. The ship is made in 3 sections and 3 different flavors. The first was a strawberry cake made in a football pan. I cut the cake in half then filled and placed one on top of the other.
Then I baked 2 13×9 cakes. I did one chocolate and one vanilla. I cut each in half, filled and placed on top of each other. Then I just iced and decorated it. I used chocolate covered pretzels for rails, whoppers for cannon balls, and wafer rolls for the cannons and center mast. The sails were made of card stock on wood skewers.
