I made this Dinosaur Birthday Cake Idea by cutting a round sponge into 2 halves, and sticking them side by side with a bit of butter icing for the dinosaurs body, and cutting out the tail, legs and head from another sponge, also sticking them together with butter icing and to the board.
I then covered all the sponge with green sugarpaste icing (which is mouldable), and made the dinosaurs pointy back out of the same icing, and sticking them on the body with cocktail sticks. I then made the eyes out of normal icing sugar mixed with a tiny bit of water, and used black food colouring to dot the eyes, and mouth. I then stuck on chocolate milk buttons to the body, again with butter icing, and made the writing out of yellow food colouring mixed with icing sugar.
