Coolest Fairyland Cake

I used 2 13×9 cake pans and layered them, using plain white frosting as the base of this Fairyland Cake.

The three little toadstools are cut out from 1 square 8×8 pan. I cut out each one, then frosting each one and placed each on the cake.

Next, I finished frosting the fairyland. The “grass” is green frosting applied with a star tip (Warning: You need a lot of frosting to make it look like grass, maybe 2 tubes!). I then added the purple frosting walkway, then added some sprinkles for definition (more would have looked better), and small, white marshmallows to line it.

Last, I added all the fun stuff. The flowers are just hard sugar cake decorations. I bought the little bugs, frog and fairy at Target in the scrapbook section (they are actually 3D stickers). The large flowers in the back are also just large glittery stickers and I cut the Tinkerbell figure out of the party cups we were using.

This cake was just beautiful with these vibrant colors and cute little additions!
