Coolest Princess Castle Cake

I made a large Victoria sponge with jam and butter cream on the inside. To bind the icing and the cake together I put a thin layer of butter icing all around the cake to level it out.

For the turrets I used choc Swiss rolls and wrapped them with with rolled icing. I used ice cream cones for the tops. That with some sparkle and edible glitter and a few other bits, created my daughter lily’s 4th birthday cake.

The Princess Castle Cake did take about 4 hours to do start to finish but it was worth it to hear my daughter say, OH WOW!! I LOVE MY CAKE MOMMY.. it was worth it.
