Coolest Pirate Ship Cake Design

My son wanted a pirate ship cake for his fifth birthday. I decided to go all out! Here are the details of this Pirate Ship Cake Design:

-Large loaf pan for ship (carved to shape)

-Small loaf pan for rear of ship

-Oreo sipper cookies for masts

-Butter cream icing

-Teddy Graham cookies for pirates

-jaw breaker canonballs

-Island baked in a Pyrex bowl covered with brown sugar sand

-Graham Cracker chest with foil wrapped treasure

-Jube jube sharks and crocodile

-Blue jello water (set and whisked to add wave effect before adding to tray)

-Tip: Add jello last minute to prevent a soggy cake!

The cake was a huge success! It took a lot of time, but was relatively easy. My son and his guests loved it!
