This Haunted Cemetery Halloween Birthday Cake is a homemade Hershey Chocolate cake (recipe on Hershey cocoa box). The frosting is Hershey chocolate Icing and Buttercream icing (for shells, holding the house together), and the pumpkin patches.
The house is made of Graham crackers, Nutterbutters, M&M's and Oreos. Crushed Oreos and Milano cookies were used in the cemetery with white chocolate covered pretzels as a fence.
Candy corns and pumpkins were used to decorate around the cake. The ghosts are marshmallows.
I made this tombstone cake as a joke for my husband's birthday. Every year since he turned 20 his sister gave him over the hill items. This year for his birthday to add to the insult I made his cake into a tombstone.
It was really easy to do. I made a 9x13 cake and trimmed one end in a curve. That was it. Really simple but fun.
I made this Halloween Graveyard Cake for a Halloween party at work. It is entirely edible. The zombie/tombstone is made from modeling chocolate, painted with icing colors/alcohol. The top is cookie crumbs for dirt and buttercream grass.
The sides are modeling chocolate sponge painted with blue/green/white with gray buttercream for mortar. The spikes are pretzel sticks covered with buttercream (black buttercream with a star tip).
I made a ¼ sheet cake with Devil's food cake for this Halloween Graveyard Cake. The cookies are Vienna, and I took the icing out, and also dyed vanilla icing a light gray for the tombstone effect. I used sour gummy worms, and pumpkins. Then used coconut with light gray in the front, and dark gray in the back.
